DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful tip. Stripe separately charges your connected account the processing fees it actually applies, which depend on the payment method and the card.
DonoLink charges 3.5% per tip. Stripe charges your connected account its actual processing fee: 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card, more for premium and non-UK cards, and 0.5% + 20p for Pay by Bank. Viewers can choose to cover only the DonoLink fee.
Example: a £10 tip on a standard UK debit or credit card costs £0.35 in Stripe fees and £0.35 in DonoLink fees, so you keep £9.30.

For creators and organisations with consistently high tip volume, we can discuss onboarding, a move from SE.Pay or Streamlabs and an individual DonoLink rate. Your rate only changes after we agree specific terms in writing.

What does a tip through DonoLink cost?
DonoLink normally charges 3.5% per tip, with no subscription or setup fee. Stripe separately charges your connected account the actual fee for the method used: 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card. On a £10 tip you keep £9.30.
Does the viewer pay extra fees?
By default, the viewer pays only the chosen amount. They can choose to cover the displayed DonoLink fee; Stripe processing fees stay with you as the creator.
Can a large channel get a different rate?
Yes. For consistently high tip volume, DonoLink can agree an individual rate. Contact us with your expected volume; a custom rate only applies after written confirmation.
How much do I keep from a tip?
It depends on the amount, the payment method and any voluntary fee cover. With a standard UK card you keep £9.30 from £10 and £23.54 from £25. Your Stripe dashboard shows the exact fees after each payment.
