Comparison 2026

A Streamlabs alternative for your tips and alerts

Streamlabs is two things: broadcasting software and a tip page. DonoLink replaces only the tip side, so you can keep Streamlabs Desktop or OBS for going live. This page compares the tip page and alerts for UK streamers, including the costs that are easy to miss when you are paid in pounds.

Tips and broadcasting software are different things

Streamlabs Desktop captures and sends your stream. The Streamlabs tip page collects payments. DonoLink does not touch your broadcasting software: it replaces the tip page and tip widgets, which you add as browser sources.

The costs to compare

Streamlabs takes 0% on tips, so on the headline fee it is cheaper than DonoLink. Look closer if you are in the UK: Streamlabs charges a 0.5% withdrawal fee, 2% for currency conversion and $15 per chargeback, and Streamlabs Ultra costs $15.75 to $27 a month for its extras.

DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful tip, and Stripe charges its fee to your account: 1.5% + 20p on a standard UK card, so £10 leaves you £9.30. Tips are paid out to your UK bank in pounds.

Why some UK streamers switch

The reasons we hear most:

Payouts in pounds on their own Stripe account, without a currency conversion step.
Pay by Bank for viewers, which cannot be charged back.
A visual alert editor with an exact preview.
One dashboard for tips, payouts and stream statistics.

Switch without losing data

Export your Streamlabs tip history and import it into DonoLink. Add the DonoLink browser sources to your scene and remove the old tip widgets. Send a test alert before your next stream, then swap the link in your panels and commands.
