Comparison 2026

A StreamElements alternative now SE.Pay is closing

StreamElements carries on under Razer, but its legacy payment service for tips, SE.Pay, no longer accepts tips and closes for good on 31 December 2026. Card tips on StreamElements now need your own Stripe account. If you would rather move your tips somewhere built for them, DonoLink takes over the tip page and alerts and imports your history.

Move from SE.Pay to DonoLink

  1. Withdraw what is left in SE.Pay.
  2. Create your page on donolink.co.uk and connect Stripe.
  3. Import your StreamElements tips with your JWT token.
  4. Add the DonoLink alert to OBS, test it and swap your link.

What is changing at StreamElements

Razer now owns StreamElements. The free tools, such as overlays, alerts and the chatbot, carry on. What is ending is SE.Pay, the built-in route that processed card tips: legacy SE.Pay no longer accepts new tips and shuts down completely on 31 December 2026.

To keep taking card tips on StreamElements, you now connect your own Stripe account there. Check your own StreamElements dashboard for the steps that apply to you.

What DonoLink replaces

DonoLink replaces the tip page and the payment, not your whole setup. Viewers open your page, choose an amount and pay without an account. Viewers pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, plus Pay by Bank and Revolut Pay once Stripe has activated them for your account. PayPal is coming soon. DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful tip; Stripe charges its fee to your account, 1.5% + 20p on a standard UK card.

DonoLink alerts are ordinary browser sources, so they sit next to any StreamElements sources in OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop.

Bring your history across

The StreamElements import pulls your previous tips through the StreamElements API with your JWT token: amount, name, message and original date return to your statistics and leaderboard. It also converts supported built-in alert widgets. Fully custom HTML, CSS or JavaScript cannot be converted reliably, so test imported alerts before you go live.
