At a glance
- Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay by Bank, no PayPal account needed.
- Every tip can trigger an alert in OBS.
- 3.5% per successful tip, no subscription.
- Your email address never appears on your tip page.
A PayPal.me link is the classic first tip jar, but it plays no alert, often shows your full name and can hold funds for new sellers for up to 21 days. DonoLink gives you a proper tip page instead, with Stripe payments in pounds on your own account and alerts in OBS. PayPal itself is coming soon to DonoLink.
A payment link is not a tip platform:
Your viewer opens your page, picks an amount and pays. Viewers pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, plus Pay by Bank and Revolut Pay once Stripe has activated them for your account. PayPal is coming soon. The tip is created on your connected Stripe account and shows up in your dashboard and in OBS within seconds.
DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful tip, with no subscription. Stripe charges its fee to your account: 1.5% + 20p on a standard UK card, so a £10 tip leaves you £9.30. A PayPal tip costs roughly the same, but without the holds and the dispute gaps.
Announce the new link over a few streams and pin it in chat. Update your panels, descriptions and bio at the same time so two links never compete. Import your history from a supported platform to keep your leaderboard, then retire the PayPal link once your community has moved.
Not yet: PayPal is coming soon. Today tips run through Stripe by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Pay by Bank.
